Diagnostic Hearing Assessment
Otoscopy Examination RM10
Uses otoscope which shines a beam of light to help visualize and examine the condition of the ear canal and eardrum. Examining the ear can reveal the cause of symptoms such as an earache, the ear feeling full, or hearing loss.
Video Otoscopy Examination RM30
Uses video otoscope which consists of camera that capture and help visualize and examine the condition of the ear canal and eardrum. From video otoscopy family members and patients can see their own eardrum and ear canal along with the family members.
Tympanometry RM70
Tympanometry is a test that shows how well your middle ear is working. It does this by measuring how your eardrum moves. Your ear consists of three parts: the outer ear, the middle ear and the inner ear. Sound enters through your outer ear as energy or vibrations.
Pure Tone Audiometry RM80
A pure tone audiometry test measures the softest, or least audible, sound that a person can hear. During the test, you will wear earphones and hear a range of sounds directed to one ear at a time.
Play Audiometry RM150
This style of testing is sometimes called stimulus-response testing where the pure tone is the stimulus and the child's action (putting a marble in a race) is the response. As the child wears headphones for this test, individual information from both ears is obtained
Otoacoustic Emissions : Hearing Screening RM90
The OAE (Otoacoustic Emissions) test checks part of the inner ear’s response to sound. The test is mostly done on infants and children who may not be able to respond to behavioral hearing tests because of their age.
